Shade 'n Net (Australia) Pty Ltd was established in 1989. Shade 'n Net has been based at the present location since March 1995, when expansion in our business required larger premises. Since then a further company owned factory has been added. This has allowed us to separate our steel fabrication from our fabric and vinyl fabrication.

Our early success was based on the development and marketing of our standard SHADE 'N NET Gazebo range. While this product, and its derivatives continue to be amongst our most popular models, SHADE 'N NET also designs and manufactures tension membrane structures, umbrellas, shade sails and more recently Colorbond roof structures.

Our personnel are our key and we have an ongoing training program to build on our existing knowledge base. The two main concepts employed are modular steel structures and tension membrane structures using both shade cloth and vinyl fabrics. All fabrication is done in-house ensuring total quality control.

Shade 'n Net has a national focus towards design and documentation providing state-of-the-art engineering in keeping with Australian best practice standards. The company owned factory has the capability of most levels of fabrication. The company also has the computer software for membrane patterning.

Our design office has been completely revamped to provide the latest in computer aided design technology. The software is regularly upgraded allowing us, with the help of a retained structural engineer, to reduce our fabrication time and provide extensive project information to our customers.

Since establishment we are proud to have assisted numerous companies, government departments and agencies, such as Q Build, Project Services, Schools, Councils, and Public Swimming Pools etc. It is conservatively estimated that over 12,000 structures have been installed throughout our network since 1989.
