Outdoor Shade Sails

A shade sail is an cover providing shade which is generally tensioned from some of the corners to provide sun protection. Because they are a tensioned membrane not unlike a ship's sail they have the name 'shade sail'. Depending on the fabric used they can also provide protection from the rain as well.

Our outdoor shade sails are constructed from strong and stable fabrics such as high density polyethylene, knitted fabics and strong vinyls. Our outdoor shade sails are available in a large variety of colours to suit any colour scheme. These polyethylene fabrics were specially developed in Australia for use outside to provide protection from the sun, and as such are manufactured with UV protection ratings. The fabrics are also designed to allow air to circulate which creates a cooler environment for shelter. The highest quality steel is used to withstand strong winds, with stainless steel bolts and fittings and fully hot dip galvanised steelwork or Two Pack Polyurethane system to ensure the product lasts.
